• Next, take an afternoon Tea at the Donald Ross Grill. Imagine Donald Ross - head professional, golf course designer, and grill manager as he was early in Pinehurst history. They proudly kept his name in this favorite lunch eatery for golfers before or after a round on his courses.
• Now we visit charming Southern Pines.  Experience Southern Pines unique combination of small-town ambiance and big city attractions. The towns founder, John T. Patrick, bought the first 675 acres of land for the town in 1884 for the sum of $1,265.  At that time the town was known as Shaw’s Ridge. Enjoy this lovely historic towns architecture, quaint village setting with restaurants and shopping venue’s.
• Southern Pines notable landmarks on our tour include: Shaw House, the Train Station, Weymouth, and downtown with its unique streetscapes.
